Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial artist. She was born August 18th, 1986. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate previously competed for Strikeforce where she was the former Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in UFC women's bantamweight rankings on October 3rd, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. Tate was born in Tacoma, Washington. Tate was a typical tomboy in her youth and often was on the playground with other boys.
