Isabel was born in Melbourne, Australia. Her dad is Australian and her mother is Swiss. The family lived within Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru an Australian mining town, and Cairns. Her sister Nina also attended an institution that was home to children from all cultures and First Nations. Isabel is currently living with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel has been a part of drama since her school days. When she graduated from Queensland Institute of Technology (QUT), she studied drama at the Victoria College of Arts. Also, she has recently completed a course in the Perdekamp emotional method. The actress never had auditions for parts until being spotted via her agents in 2002. She auditioned for an actress in Home and Away 1998. They felt she was not the best fit for this role. They were so impressed they created another character for Tasha. After three years of work, she won the Logie Award as a new talent in television in her character. Isabel moved between London and Los Angeles in 2008. Her breakout role was with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009. In the years since she has appeared in and won awards in numerous US films in addition to Australian films. She has been the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival The HRAFF festival has been running for 10 consecutive years.
